Watch: Virat Kohli couldn’t convert a promising start into a substantial score during India’s warm-up fixture with Leicestershire, getting out to Roman Walker on 33 with a dismissal that left him visibly unhappy.
Walker, who is yet to play a first-class game, ran through the touring India unit with a five-wicket haul, starting with the dismissal of captain Rohit Sharma. He proceeded to snare Hanuma Vihari two overs later, pegging India back on the opening day of the clash.
The biggest prize, though, came in the 41st over, when Kohli tried to hit Walker through the on-side, only to miss the line of the ball completely. The ball rapped on his back pad on the way to the keeper; the Leicestershire side went up in appeal straightaway, and while the umpire was initially unmoved, he eventually his finger.
Kohli, meanwhile, looked surprised when the decision came, going on to speak to the umpire before reluctantly trudging off.

Out or not out? 🤔
