Watch: Liam Livingstone was clean bowled behind his legs by Jasprit Bumrah as England slumped to 26-5 in the opening ODI against India.
For odds on the England-India ODI series head to bet365, where you can find England 1/1 to win the series and India 4/5 to win the series.
Coming in at No.6, Livingstone was on 0 off seven balls and struggling to find his rhythm with both Bumrah and Mohammad Shami bowling excellent opening spells.
Off the eighth ball of his innings, still yet to score, Livingstone advanced down the track and over to the offside to Bumrah who bowled a full-length delivery that swung in prodigiously, beating Livingstone on the legside and crashing into his stumps.
The wicket left England 26-5 in only the eighth over of the game, with Livingstone the fourth member of England’s top six to record a duck in what was a record-breaking innings for all the wrong reasons for the home side.
England would end up being all out for 110, with Bumrah recording his best ever ODI figures of 6-19, which are also the third best of all time for India in men’s ODIs.
In reply, India chased down the target of 111 without losing a wicket and in just 18.4 overs, their biggest ever win against another full-member side in ODI cricket when batting second.
