The Women's T20 World Cup is set to get underway on Thursday (October 3). Here is the full list of commentators and presenters for the broadcast of the tournament.

The ninth edition of the Women's T20 World Cup was set to take place in Bangladesh, until the overthrowing of Sheikh Hasina's government and the resulting political instability meant that it had to be moved, to the UAE.

Bangladesh will take on Scotland in the opening match in Sharjah on October 3, with Pakistan v Sri Lanka scheduled immediately afterwards at the same venue. Click here to find the full list of fixtures for the tournament. 

Who are the participating teams at the Women's T20 World Cup 2024?

A total of 10 teams will be involved in this year's tournament. Scotland are making their debut on this stage, and have been drawn in Group B alongside 2023 runners-up South Africa, Bangladesh, England and West Indies.

Defending champions Australia have been drawn in Group A, alongside India, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

The squads were finalised last week, as Sri Lanka were the last team to confirm their group of 15 selected to represent the country. You can find the full squads from each team right here.

On Wednesday (October 2), the ICC announced the list of commentators and presenters that would be covering the tournament. Fomer international players Ian Bishop, Nasser Hussain, Mithali Raj, Sana Mir and WV Raman are among those on commentary duty, with Kass Naidoo and Laura McGoldrick taking up the role of presenters.

On their website, the ICC said: "In addition to the live match coverage, ICC TV will produce a 30-minute pre-game build-up, an innings interval show, and a post-match wrap-up allowing a seamless broadcasting experience.

"The world-class coverage will feature a minimum of 28 cameras at each game complemented by several analytical and visual enhancements. Spidercam will also be deployed at select matches to enhance viewer engagement."
