India have named their squad for the 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup, to be played between October 3 and 20 this year. Originally scheduled to be played in Bangladesh, the World Cup had to be shifted to the UAE due to political unrest in the country. All matches will be played in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium and the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

India will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur, while Smriti Mandhana has been named her deputy. The squad includes Yastika Bhatia and Shreyanka Patil, whose availabilities are subject to fitness. Along with the 15 members, there are five reserves, three of whom will travel to the UAE and two will not.

India are in Group A, along with six-time champions Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Two teams will proceed to the semi-finals.
