On Wednesday (September 25), the ICC announced that tickets for the ninth edition of the tournament were now available for purchase.

The tournament was initially scheduled to be held in Bangladesh, but had to be shifted to the UAE due to the protests and political unrest in the country. It will be played across two cities, Dubai and Sharjah. The full list of fixtures for the tournament can be found here

Ahead of the start of the tournament on October 3, there will be ten official warm-up matches, with each team playing two fixtures. All of these will be in Dubai, and the full schedule is here.

ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024: Ticket prices and how to buy

Ticket prices start as low as 5 AED (dirhams), roughly equivalent to 1.36 US dollars. These tickets are the cheapest ones available for single-match days, as well as for the day pass on a few double-match days. Most day passes are available for 10 AED.

Prices vary depending on the matchday, venue and stand within the stadium. For example, in Dubai the Premium and Pavilion stands are priced roughly at 25 AED, with the Platinum at 40 AED. The most expensive tickets available are in the VIP Suite, for an all day hospitality experience – these go as high as 700 AED.

Tickets for the tournament can be purchased online, through the ICC's official website. They can be booked on a match-by-match basis, with certain "day passes" available when two fixtures are scheduled to take place one after the other at the same venue.

In a bid to encourage a younger population to attend matches, the ICC has made entry free for everyone aged 18 and below.

There is also an offline option to purchase tickets for those who wish to do so. Kiosks will be set up for this at the Dubai International Stadium and Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
