Pakistan and West Indies both won rain-shortened matches in the 2025 Women's World Cup Qualifier on Friday (April 11). Here are the updated rankings after today's matches.
West Indies, Pakistan win thrillers on day three of Women's World Cup Qualifier
In Lahore, West Indies took on Ireland at the Gaddafi Stadium, and Pakistan played Scotland at the City Cricket Association Ground. The former was shortened to 33-overs-a-side and the latter to 32, after a spell of rain delayed both games.
Scotland posted a strong 186-9 in 32 overs, courtesy of captain Kathryn Bryce's 91, the second-highest score by a Scotland batter in women's ODI cricket. The next-highest score was Ailsa Lister's 31. In reply, Pakistan lost Gull Feroza and Sidra Amin early, before a 93-run stand between Muneeba Ali (71) and Aliya Riaz put them back on track.

With 79 needed off the last 10 overs, the situation was a bit dicey, but Riaz stepped on the accelerator to take Pakistan home with eight balls to spare, remaining unbeaten on 68.
In the other game, West Indies posted 181-6 in 33 overs after being asked to bat. Captain Hayley Matthews made just 23 today, off the back of a century in the previous game but Stafanie Taylor (46) and Chinelle Henry (46*) chipped in to take their side to a solid score. There was some luck involved though, as Ireland dropped a stunning six catches.

Ireland's chase was led by opener Amy Hunter who scored 48, but once she was the third to fall with the score at 75, they slid to 133-6 and 146-7. After going to 156-9, Cara Murray and Arlene Kelly kept them in the hunt, but they finally fell six runs short. Matthews finished with 4-24, her second four-wicket haul on the trot.

Pakistan have moved to the top of the standings with a second successive win. West Indies' campaign remains alive after their shock opening-day loss to Scotland, but they are still in fourth place for now.
