Tournament co-hosts West Indies have qualified for the Super Eight stage of the 2024 T20 World Cup, and will fancy their chances of going all the way on home turf. Here's all the information on their matches for the second round of the tournament.
Seeded pre-tournament as C2, West Indies have been placed in Super Eights Group 2 alongside USA, England and South Africa. It's a challenging set of fixtures, but they will be motivated by the prospect of becoming the first men's team to win three T20 World Cup trophies.
In the group stage, West Indies won all four of their matches. They completed a slightly shaky chase of 137 against Papua New Guinea to start their tournament before the bowlers stepped up to bowl Uganda out for 39 and secure a 134-run win.
Against New Zealand, it took a Sherfane Rutherford rescue act for them to score 149 and win by 13 runs before their final match saw the batters come to the party, posting 218 to help defeat Afghanistan by 104 runs.
