Watch: Shamar Joseph cleaned up David Warner's off stump, leaving him smiling during the T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up fixture between West Indies and Australia at Queen's Park Oval on May 30, 2024 in Port of Spain, Trinidad And Tobago.

Chasing a mammoth 257-run target, Warner welcomed Joseph with 4,6 and 4. Off the fourth delivery, Joseph steamed in from around the wicket and landed the ball around off stump and on a good length. Warner, batting then on 15 off give, attempted a pull, though the ball wasn’t as short to his liking. The ball kept low and angled in slightly to crash onto Warner’s off stump. Warner, being undone by the length and the late movement, smiled while walking back to the pavilion.

Australia were restricted to 222-7 at the end, with top-scorer Josh Inglis’ 30-ball 55 going in vain.

Gudakesh Motie was the pick of the West Indies bowlers, finishing with 2-31. Their batting effort was spearheaded by Nicholas Pooran (75 off 25), with support from Rovman Powell (52 off 25), Sherfane Rutherford (47 not out off 18) and Johnson Charles (40 off 31).
