Watch: Mitchell Marsh broke a solar panel after thumping Adil Rashid for a six during the Australia-England T20 World Cup clash at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Saturday (June 8).

Australian captain Mitchell Marsh walked out at No.3 following the dismissal of David Warner for a 16-ball 39. He started cautiously and was on 18 from 15 balls at one stage, before making 17 in the next 10 balls. This included smashing two sixes, one of which broke a solar panel in Barbados.

Adil Rashid dropped the length back on the fifth ball of the ninth over. Marsh picked the length early, rocked back into his crease, and pulled it over deep mid-wicket right into the solar panel above the stands. Replays later showed that the hit had broken one of the panels.

Marsh was eventually dismissed for a 25-ball 35 by Liam Livingstone, falling in the 14th over. Australia made 201-7 after their 20 overs, a target that proved 36 runs too many for England.
