Jofra Archer's return after a long injury layoff has bolstered England's title defence chances. Sam Curran has fallen in the pecking order ever since winning the Player of the Tournament in 2022. Chirs Jordan may play over Curran in the XI.
Scotland, meanwhile, will be without the services of Andrew Umeed and Josh Davey, who are unavailable due to their county stints for Somerset.
