The Central Broward Park in Lauderhill, Florida, is scheduled to host four T20 World Cup 2024 games between June 11 and 16. However, inclement weather in the U.S. state might interrupt the fixtures – here’s the latest rain and weather forecast for the remaining T20 World Cup matches in Florida.
The first match of the competition in the venue, between Sri Lanka and Nepal on Tuesday, was called off due to rain. Inclement weather can play spoilsport in the remaining matches in Lauderhill as well; co-hosts USA will play Ireland on June 14, India will play Canada on June 15, and Pakistan will pit against Ireland on June 16.
With India qualifying in the Super Eights, the importance of the final fixture at the venue heightens as it would be vital for Pakistan’s slender chance to make the next round if the USA fail to secure a spot.
