India begin their 2024 T20 World Cup campaign today (June 5) against Ireland in New York - here's the latest weather forecast for the IND vs IRE match, including chances of rain.

The match is scheduled to begin at 10:30am local time in New York. Both of yesterday's fixtures in Guyana and Dallas were affected by rain. England's clash against Scotland was eventually abandoned amidst a heavy downpour, while Nepal vs Netherlands was significantly delayed. However, the weather forecast today in New York is more promising for India vs Ireland.

The game will be the second of the tournament played at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium after South Africa beat Sri Lanka at the ground earlier this week. It will be played on a drop-in wicket which proved difficult to score on in the first fixture.
