Defending champions England will look to do a double when they take the field for the 2024 men’s T20 World Cup in June.

Where will the T20 World Cup be held?

The 2024 men’s T20 World Cup will be held across the West Indies and the United States of America. The tournament will start on June 1 with the final to be played on June 29.

How are the teams divided?

As many as 20 teams will feature in the 2024 edition of the men’s T20 World Cup. The teams have been drawn into four groups of five each. The group stage will be played in the single round robin format, with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the Super Eights.

Here is how the groups have been divided:

Group A: India, Pakistan, Ireland, Canada, The USA
Group B: England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, Oman
Group C: New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, Papua New Guinea
Group D: South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, Nepal

Where does England play its games?

England will play two of its Group B games in Barbados, followed by the last two group games in Antigua at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

Their marquee clash against Australia will be held at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on June 8.
