The India-South Africa T20 World Cup final could be affected by rain, with forecast for showers in Bridgetown, Barbados on June 29: here are the latest updates on the weather at the venue.
India play South Africa in the final of the men's T20 World Cup on June 29 (Saturday) at 10.30am local time. The second semi-final in Guyana, between India and England had a delayed start due to rain. There was an interruption during the India innings as well, when Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav were at the crease.
The showers and the subsequent drying up of the pitch and outfield took over an hour, but since the reserve time was sufficient, there were no overs lost. There was no reserve day for the second semi-final.
There could be more rain in store in Barbados, but a reserve day has been allocated on June 30.

Update on June 29, 7.14am local time: The rain forecast around match timings has eased up a bit, and is currently at 12 to 14 per cent. Post 2pm though, it goes up as high as 48 per cent.
Update on June 28, 12pm local time: A day ahead of the final, the forecast isn't too promising for June 29.
According to Google, the chance of precipitation from 10am to 1pm is 55 to 60 per cent.
On Weather.com, forecast for the same hours is around 55 per cent, going as high as 72 per cent around 12pm local time.
According to AccuWeather, the probability of precipitation ranges from 29 to 51 per cent from 10am to 1pm.
