IND vs PAK: Team news

India won the first match against Ireland comfortably. On the other hand, Pakistan are under pressure after losing their campaign opener against co-hosts USA earlier this week. They will look to take inspiration from their 2021 T20 World Cup victory against India, to remain in the Super Eights race.

Rohit Sharma suffered yet another injury concern in a net session on Friday after a blow on one of his upper arms forced him to retire hurt against Ireland. Though he resumed practice shortly, India are yet to provide an official update.

For Pakistan, it remains to be seen whether underfire middle-order batter Azam Khan gets another chance, given his lean run since his comeback into the team.
