India enter the men’s T20 World Cup as one of the favourites: here’s where the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 can be watched live in India, including TV channels and live streaming details.

India will start the competition with a burning desire to end their prolonged trophy drought in ICC tournaments, having last won the Champions Trophy in 2013. Their most recent heartbreak came in the final of the ODI World Cup final last year, where they lost to Australia by six wickets.

India in T20 World Cups: How have they fared?

Since winning the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup in 2007, India’s runners-up finish in 2014 has been their best result. They have also made it to the semi-finals in 2016 and 2022, agonisingly falling short of their second title.

India v Pakistan among key clashes

India will start their campaign against Ireland in New York on June 5. The same venue will host the marquee clash against Pakistan on June 9 and their third group stage game against the USA on June 12. Their final group stage game will be against Canada in Florida on June 15.

The ‘Men in Blue’ have announced a formidable squad under Rohit Sharma’s leadership. Alongside Rohit, the contingent also features veterans of the shortest format like Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah. All eyes will be on Rishabh Pant, who will make his international comeback after a harrowing road accident that kept him on the sidelines for over a year.
