Kensington Oval during a rain delay

England will play their final Super Eight fixture of the 2024 T20 World Cup against the USA on Sunday (June 23) in Barbados - here's the latest weather predictions for the match.

England need a win against the USA to give themselves the best chance of qualifying for the semi-finals following their loss against South Africa. They currently sit in third place in group two, level on points with West Indies and two points behind South Africa.

What's the equation for England?

If England beat the USA and West Indies lose to South Africa in their final Super Eight match, England will go through on points alone. But, if England beat the USA and West Indies beat South Africa, England will need to win big over the USA to increase their net run rate, and hope the West Indies win by a small margin against South Africa, given the West Indies' net run rate is currently significantly better than England.

If England lose to the USA, they will in all liklihood be out of the tournament.

However, there is a significant chance of rain impacting or even washing out the fixture. If the game is washed out, England will have to hope West Indies lose to South Africa, otherwise they will be out of the tournament.
