On Sunday (June 16), the lineup for the Super Eight stage of the 2024 T20 World Cup was completed, as Bangladesh secured qualification from Group D alongside South Africa, following a win over Nepal. Here's what the schedule looks like for each side in the Super Eights.
The current lineup for the Super Eights is as follows: Group 1 contains India, Australia, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. USA, England, West Indies and South Africa are in Group 2. The Super Eight stage kicks off with South Africa vs USA in Antigua on Wednesday, June 19. The semifinals will take place in Trinidad (June 26) and Guyana (June 27), with the final scheduled for June 29 in Barbados.
What is each team’s Super Eights schedule and path to the T20 World Cup final?
Group 1
India
Schedule: Afghanistan (June 20), Bangladesh (June 22), Australia (June 24).
India's Super Eights campaign will begin on June 20 against Afghanistan in Barbados. The Men in Blue will be playing outside of New York for the first time in the tournament (their group match in Lauderhill was washed out), and so will need to adapt quickly to conditions. Bangladesh await them in Antigua two days after that, with their final match coming against Australia in St Lucia on June 24.
For broadcast reasons, India are confirmed to play in the second semifinal on June 27 in Guyana, should they finish in the top two of Group 1. This would be the case anyway if they finished second in the group, but now whether they finish first or second is irrelevant.

Australia
Schedule: Bangladesh (June 20), Afghanistan (June 22), India (June 24).
Australia bossed Group B in the first round, winning all four of their matches including a 36-run victory over arch-rivals England. They will first take on Bangladesh in Antigua, a ground that has been conducive to run-scoring so far in this tournament. Next up is a tricky assignment against Afghanistan before a heavyweight clash against India.
Australia know that if they qualify with India, they will play their semifinal against the runners-up of Group 2 in Trinidad on June 26. Otherwise, finishing first takes them to Trinidad on June 26 while finishing second takes them to Guyana on June 27.
Afghanistan
Schedule: India (June 20), Australia (June 22), Bangladesh (June 24).
The highlight of Afghanistan's campagin so far has been their crushing 75-run thrashing of New Zealand, with dominant wins over Uganda and Papua New Guinea cementing their qualification from Group C. Their first Super Eight fixture sees them play India in Barbados on June 20, follows by Australia and finally Bangladesh. They are not favourites to finish in the top two, but are more than capable of doing so.
Like Australia, they know that qualifying alongside India means their semifinal will be in Trinidad on June 26 against the runners-up of Group 2. Otherwise, finishing second means a trip to Guyana while topping the group will see them head to Trinidad.
Bangladesh
Schedule: Australia (June 20), India (June 22), Afghanistan (June 24).
Bangladesh were the last team to qualify for the Super Eights, with a victory over Nepal. Three wins out of four in a tricky group was a solid showing from them, and building on that will be the next goal. They play Australia in Antigua first, before facing India at the same venue. Their last Super Eights game will be against Afghanistan in St Vincent.
Once again, Bangladesh will play their semifinal in Trinidad on June 26 if they qualify with India. Otherwise, it's Trinidad if they finish first and Guyana if they come second.
Group 2
USA
Schedule: South Africa (June 19), West Indies (June 21), England (June 23).
USA emerged as shock qualifiers from Group A, beating out the likes of Pakistan and Ireland to do so. Their journey will continue as they play South Africa in the first Super Eights game in Antigua, before taking on West Indies and England in Barbados. They are by far the underdogs of this group, but finishing in the top two is not entirely out of the question.
If USA finish top of the group, they will play their semifinal in Guyana on June 27, either against India or the runners-up of Group 1. Finishing second means playing in Trinidad on June 26 against the winners of Group 1, or the team that qualifies alongside India.
England
Schedule: West Indies (June 19), South Africa (June 21), USA (June 23).
England needed an Australian favour to secure qualification to the Super Eights, after a washout against Scotland. It was a close-run thing, but now that they have made it the defending champions will be looking to put together a run of form. They will face two tough opponents in St Lucia (West Indies and South Africa), before playing USA in Barbados.
Finishing first means going to Guyana and playing India/runners-up of Group 1. Finishing second means a semifinal in Trinidad against the team qualifying with India/winners of Group 1.
West Indies
Schedule: England (June 19), USA (June 21), South Africa (June 23).
Tournament co-hosts West Indies will go to St Lucia, Barbados and Antigua respectively for their Super Eights matches. Up first are England, followed by USA and then South Africa. They will be looking to make a real push for the semifinals, as they aim to become the first team to win three men's T20 World Cups.
Top the group, and they're off to Guyana to play either India or Group 1's second-placed team. Finish second, and they will head to Trinidad for the first semifinal.
South Africa
Schedule: USA (June 19), England (June 21), West Indies (June 23).
South Africa secure four wins in four matches in Group D, but more than one could have gone the other way. Despite that, the Proteas remain a solid outfit, and will back themselves to qualify for the semifinals. They play USA in Antigua before taking on England in St Lucia, returning to Antigua after that to play West Indies.
Again, topping the group will take them to Guyana for the second semifinal against India/runners-up of Group 1. Finishing second will see them play the first semifinal in Trinidad.
