Watch: A few days after hitting an “impossible” six off Haris Rauf, Virat Kohli smashed another brilliant maximum against the Netherlands in the 2022 T20 World Cup, which left even the man himself amazed.
Kohli struck his second fifty in a row in the tournament, as India registered two more points on the board on Thursday. India scored 179-2 in their 20 overs, with Kohli remaining unbeaten on 62 off 44 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes, the first of which was an astonishing hit over deep extra cover.
Fred Klaasen, bowling round the wicket in the 17th over, sent down a full-length ball outside off. Kohli, who was stationed on the leg side, gave himself room, middled the ball and carved it over the boundary ropes for a huge six. It not only left fans in awe but Kohli gobsmacked too, who remained wide-eyed after the boundary.
