The eighth edition of the T20 World Cup is taking place in Australia – here’s the 2022 T20 WC points table for both the First Round & Super 12 round, updated after each match.
There are three stages of the competition. The First Round has eight countries divided into two groups competing against each other. The top two from each group will then advance to the Super 12 stage, with two groups of six sides. The best two teams from each group will play in the semi-finals, before the final will be played at the MCG on Saturday 13 November.

So far, Sri Lanka and Netherlands are confirmed to advance to the Super 12 round after UAE’s victory against Namibia. It was UAE’s first win at the T20 World Cup ever. Right now, Scotland, Zimbabwe, West Indies and Ireland have a win each from two matches in the Group B table, having two points each. Two teams from the group will qualify into the Super 12.
The eight teams already qualified for the Super 12 are: Afghanistan, Australia, England, New Zealand, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, South Africa.
