Afghanistan

Afghanistan are almost entirely in their familiar blue, with dark blue stripes on the lower chest and patches on the upper chest. The red is restricted to the sides.

Australia

Defending champions and hosts Australia continue to include the Indigenous Australians in their kit, this time in the T20 World Cup outfit. The background is the familiar yellow.

Bangladesh

The green and the tiger in Bangladesh’s kit reflects the colour of the Sundarbans, the mangrove forest that spans a significant section of the the southern part of the nation. The red is restricted to the sides. There’s another variation, with red dominating the cloth, and shades of green on one side, in the form of paint brush strokes.

England

England had revealed their kit earlier this year. The red shirt, featuring three unusually jovial three lions, looks reasonably cool. The blue trousers provide a nice contrast.

India

India are set to use two prominent shades of blue this time – a lighter hue for the base and navy blue for the shoulders. The front consists of a motif featuring both colours.

Ireland

Ireland are set to don the bright green they have been over the years. The shoulders are a very dark shade of the same colour.

Namibia

As with the 2021 edition, Namibia havIe one of the more attractive kits – a base of black with deep red stripes around the waist, and a bright blue collar.

Netherlands

The Dutch are – to no one’s surprise – in orange, but it is the deep blue on the sleeve that makes the jersey stand out among several others.

New Zealand

New Zealand decided to do away with their all-black outfit in favour of a ‘retro’ option – not the beige from the 1980s but a shade of ash from the late 1990s.

Pakistan

Pakistan’s kit comprises stripes of yellow and two shades of green. Of the three colours, the yellow stands out the most, giving it a look atypical of Pakistan.

Scotland

Scotland are in purple yet again, though this time it is a combination of several shades of deep blue and purple. Yet again a forerunner for the best jersey of the tournament award.

South Africa

South Africa are in their familiar green, while the presence of yellow is less than usual. The blue-and-green motif around the waist also makes an appearance on the right collar, while the national flag features on the left collar.

Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka’s blue is deeper than usual, though it is the yellow that dominates. Much will be expected of the Asia Cup champions this time, despite them having to qualify through the First Round.

West Indies

Yet another predominantly yellow shirt, with the iconic maroon featuring on the shoulders. The only team to win the T20 World Cup twice till date, the West Indies will also have to qualify for the Super 12.

United Arab Emirates

The UAE did away with their traditional grey shirt. This time they take the field in a shirt that is dazzling pink at the top and fades into blue as it goes down.

Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe, too, have restricted their famous red shade to the shoulders and collars. The base is a yellow, though a different shade from the other teams’.
