The 2022 T20 World Cup begins on October 16 in Australia, with Sri Lanka and Namibia (SL v NAM) kicking off the First Round in Geelong. Here’s where to watch it.
Sri Lanka and Namibia will go head-to-head in the opening game of the 2022 World Cup in Geelong. The two sides have only ever played each other once before in men’s T20I cricket. A fixture that took place at the same stage of last years’ T20 World Cup where Sri Lanka won out by seven wickets. Below are details of where to watch SL v NAM.
This is the first of three stages of the competition. The first round has eight countries divided into two groups competing against each other. The top two from each group will then advance to the Super 12 stage, with two groups of six sides. The best two teams from each group will play in the semifinals.
The final will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on November 13.
