Ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022, India will play Western Australia in a warm-up game: here is all you need to know about the IND v WA game, including teams, venue, match timings and more.

India will begin their 2022 T20 World Cup campaign with a match against Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on October 23. Ahead of that, they will play two warm-up matches – against Australia on October 17, and against New Zealand on October 19, both at the Gabba in Brisbane. Even before these international matches, however, they will play Western Australia for a warm-up match.

The Indians are, as things stand now, a 14-member squad. They are yet to name a replacement for Jasprit Bumrah, who has been ruled out of the tournament with an injury. While they have more or less zeroed in on their batting, the warm-up matches will help India determine the pace-spin balance of their attacks along with the exact bowlers to pick.
