Oman first made their T20 World Cup appearance five years ago, in 2016, when the event was held in India. They will want to better their showing this time around and advance to the second round after putting in a good showing by aiming for a top-two finish in Group B. Bangladesh, Scotland and Papua New Guinea are also a part of Oman’s group. The team recently hosted the Mumbai T20 team in Oman as a part of their T20 World Cup preparations.

The side will be led by Zeeshan Maqsood. They have not yet named the list of standby players.
