It will be Namibia’s first entry into a World Cup in 18 years, having last appeared in the 2003 50-overs edition. The current side will be led by Gerhard Erasmus, who was named the Player of the Tournament in the 2019 T20 World Cup Qualifier in UAE.
Namibia are part of Group A, alongside Sri Lanka, Ireland and Netherlands, and will be featuring in Round 1 of the tournament, with their matches in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

T20 World Cup 2021: Namibia squad news and updates
The squad features former South Africa bowling all-rounder David Wiese, who will bolster the side after the retirements of Zhivago Groenewald and JP Kotze.
In 2018, they achieved full T20I status. Overall, the side has played 22 T20Is, winning 18 of them. Erasmus is their leading run-getter in the format, while Jan Frylinck has taken the most wickets.
