The infamous prankster Daniel Jarvis, aka “Jarvo 69”, known for stepping onto cricket grounds during international matches, particularly those involving India, was at it again during India’s opening World Cup fixture against Australia today (October 8) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

“Jarvo 69” crossed the boundary hoardings and stepped onto the playing arena at the MA Chidambaram Stadium right before the start of the match, just as the Indian fielders and the umpires were getting themselves into position.

He was duly escorted from the ground by the security personnel, but not before having a confrontation with Kohli. The former India captain ran up to him as he was being dragged out of the ground by security and seemed to exchange a few heated words with him.

Before that, KL Rahul was also seen having a confrontation with the intruder, possibly asking him to leave the field.

Jarvo 69″ first made an appearance at an India game in 2021 when he intruded onto the Lord’s field during India’s second Test against England. Since then, he has been charged with aggravated trespass for his constant security breaches in international cricket venues, making his appearance at the MA Chidambaram Stadium during a World Cup game all the more surprising.
