Rahim steadied the ship after Bangladesh had collapsed to 56-4, scoring a fine 66 in 75 balls and stitched together 96 runs for the fifth wicket along with Shakib Al Hasan. Skipper Shakib was dismissed by Lockie Ferguson for 40, and Rahim soon followed, falling to an off-cutter from Henry.

On the fifth ball of the 36th over, Henry sent down a slower ball that stayed low and Rahim attempted to play a pull shot. However, he ended up missing the delivery that kept low and fell over in the process as the ball went and rattled the stumps.

Bangladesh crumbled thereafter, and managed only 70 runs in the remaining 14.1 overs, ending with 245-9. Henry returned to pick up the wicket of Mustafizur Rahman as well, and finished with figures of 2-58.
