NED vs SA, World Cup 2023 Match 15: Team news
Fast bowler Logan van Beek comes back in for the Netherlands after he missed their last match against New Zealand with a hamstring strain. He replaces Ryan Klein, who took 0-41 in the team’s last outing. The rest of their line-up is unchanged.
South Africa have opted to play an extra fast-bowler in Gerald Coetzee, who was left out of South Africa’s last game against Australia for Tabraiz Shamsi. Coetzee took three wickets in South Africa’s first outing against Sri Lanka. He is the only change to their XI.

Match prediction: Netherlands vs South Africa
South Africa look like one of the two teams to beat in the tournament so far, alongside India. They will also be looking to put past demons behind them after their loss to the Netherlands in the T20 World Cup last year. The Netherlands are the only non-full member side in the competition, and face a tough road to registering a win over any side, let alone one that could well end up in the final. It’s hard to see any other outcome than a big South Africa victory.
