The grand-final will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday (November 19), between India and Australia. Several big names from both countries will be on air for the event, with six World Cup winners on the bill. Current reigning champion, former England captain Eoin Morgan will also be part of the team.

Ravi Shastri will host the toss between Rohit Sharma and Pat Cummins, with Nasser Hussain and Sanjay Manjrekar also part of the on-the-ground lineup.

India have qualified for the second consecutive World Cup final at home after they won the event in 2011 in Mumbai. They are unbeaten in this edition of the competition, and beat New Zealand by 70 runs in the semi-final. In that match, Virat Kohli scored his 50th ODI century to go past Sachin Tendulkar’s all-time record in the format. Mohammed Shami also took seven wickets against New Zealand to give him the best figures ever by an India men’s bowler in an ODI.

Australia emerged on the better side of a close match against South Africa to reach the final. After they bowled South Africa out for 212, the Proteas spinners ripped through their middle order and left the tail to limp over the line. They ended up winning by three wickets with 16 balls remaining to reach their eighth men’s World Cup final.
