As many as 48 games will be played over 46 days, with each of the ten teams facing the other side once in the league stage. The top four sides will seal tickets for the semi-finals on November 15 and 16, with the final being held on November 19 in Ahmedabad.
India are hosting the event for the first time since 2011 when they jointly organised the marquee show with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. They also co-hosted the 50-over competition in 1987 and 1996. Notably, this is the first time that the sub-continental giant will organise the apex contest solitarily.

The 2023 World Cup will be aired on both TV and OTT platforms in the United States of America. Willow TV will televise the matches while the live-streaming services will be available on the ESPN+ app.
In Canada, it will be shown exclusively on Willow.
In the US, on Sling TV, you can watch all matches from October 5 (the England-New Zealand opener) to October 19 (the final) of the Cricket World Cup.
