The ICC have announced the revised schedule for the 2023 Cricket World Cup, set to be played in India later in the year – here is Australia’s fixture list for the tournament, including venues and match timings.

Australia will being their 2023 Cricket World Cup campaign against hosts India in Chennai on October 8. That will be the fifth match of the tournament which will kick-off with a re-run of the 2019 final, England vs New Zealand. From there, the team will travel to Lucknow where they will face South Africa, as well as Sri Lanka three days later.
Australia’s last league stage game will be against Bangladesh in Pune. Following on from there, if Australia qualify for the knockout stages, the semifinals will be played on November 15 and 16 in Mumbai and Kolkata respectively. The final will be played in Ahmedabad on Sunday, November 19.
No side has won the men’s Cricket World Cup more times than Australia, who have claimed the trophy on five occasions. The last time they won the title was on home soil in 2015, where they beat New Zealand in the final of the competition at the MCG. In 2019 they were beaten by England in the semi-final of the tournament at Edgbaston, where they were bowled out for 223 and lost by eight wickets.
