Australia will be without Marcus Stoinis for their game against the Netherlands in the ODI World Cup on October 25 (Wednesday) after the all-rounder suffered a calf niggle.

They recalled Cameron Green to the XI after Stoinis was declared unfit for Australia’s fifth game in the World Cup, against the Netherlands, in Delhi. Captain Pat Cummins confirmed the same at the toss.
“We have one change: Stoinis has a niggly calf. Cam Green comes in.”
This will be Green’s second World Cup match, having earlier played the team’s opener against India in Chennai. Stoinis had been unfit for that game as well, having been ruled out with a hamstring niggle. Green scored eight and did not pick up a wicket in his two overs. He was left out of the side once Stoinis returned.
Stoinis has been unable to set the World Cup on fire either, with scores of 5, 20 not out and 21 in three innings. He picked up 2-40 in the last clash against Pakistan after going wicketless in the first two ODIs that he played in the competition.

Meanwhile, Australia won the toss and opted to bat first at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The Netherlands, led by Australia-born Scott Edwards, have not made any changes to their line-up.
Australia are currently placed fourth on the points table with two wins from four games. The Netherlands, on the other hand, have just one win against South Africa in four outings.
