The ICC says action will be taken after supporters of Pakistan and Afghanistan were filmed clashing outside their sides’ World Cup meeting at Headingley.
One piece of footage posted on social media appeared to show Afghanistan fans rattling a closed security gate, while in another a group of men could be seeing jostling and throwing punches.
West Yorkshire Police attended the scene, although there were no immediate reports of arrests, while a spokesperson for the tournament’s organisers condemned the behaviour.

“We are currently working with the venue security team and local police force to ensure there are no further incidents,” said the spokesperson, quoted on the BBC website.
“We do not condone this type of behaviour, and will take appropriate action against any anti-social behaviour that spoils the enjoyment for the majority of fans.”
A police statement said officers responded to “reports of some trouble outside the ground linked to people trying to get in. Officers attended to disperse the group without any issues.”
