Hampshire are reportedly seeking clarification from the ICC over Jame Vince’s availability for the Royal London One-Day Cup Final at Lord’s on Saturday May 29, should he be selected in England’s World Cup squad.
The 28-year-old batsman, who featured for England against Pakistan in their recent ODI and T20I series, is likely to be named in the finalised 15-man squad which will be announced tomorrow.

Under ICC Cricket World Cup rules, it is believed that Vince would become ineligible to play other competitions in the interim. England also take on Australia in a World Cup warm-up fixture at Hampshire and Vince’s home ground, The Ageas Bowl, on the same day as the domestic final.
The regulation may be subject to varying interpretations and is “ambivalent”, Hampshire chairman Rod Bransgrove told Sky Sports.
