Abrar Ahmed Shubman Gill send off

Watch: Abrar Ahmed bamboozled Shubman Gill with a ripping leg break before proceeding to give him a send-off during the India vs Pakistan clash the 2025 Champions Trophy in Dubai on Sunday (February 23).

Shaheen Afridi drew first blood for Pakistan during India's run-chase of 242, smashing Rohit Sharma's stumps with a pinpoint yorker, much like he did during the 2021 T20 World Cup at the same venue.

Virat Kohli then joined the in-form Shubman Gill and the duo stitched a 69-run second-wicket partnership that was starting to take the game away from Pakistan when Abrar Ahmed stuck gold.

Bowling his fourth over, Abrar got one to pitch on a back of length on the leg stump drawing Gill into a false stroke off the backfoot. The ball turned shaprly and went past the India opener's outside edge to castle his middle and off stump, leaving Gill in a state of shock.
