Tickets for the 2025 Champions Trophy final on March 9 will go on sale after the first semi-final, just four days before the match.
The decision to delay ticket sales for the marquee fixture has come in the wake of India’s refusal to travel to host nation Pakistan for the tournament, meaning their matches will be played in Dubai, UAE.
As a result, a decision on the venue for the final will only be made after the first semi-final has taken place. Should India qualify from Group A, which features Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh, they will participate in the first semi-final in Dubai. If India make the final, it will take place in Dubai, otherwise, the final will be hosted in Lahore.
Therefore, tickets will not be released until the conclusion of the first semi-final on March 4, when the location of the final will be known. However, this gives fans just four days to purchase tickets ahead of the final.
Tickets for matches taking place in Pakistan will go on sale on January 28 at 2PM local time, and will start at 1000 Pakistan rupees, while an announcement on ticket information for the Dubai leg will be made in the coming days.

There were similar ticketing issues for the 2023 World Cup in India, where the final set of tickets were released on November 9, 10 days before the final in Ahmedabad. The first batch of tickets, for non-India matches, went on sale on August 25, 41 days before the opening match of the tournament. Meanwhile, the rest of the tickets, excluding the knockout matches, were spread across a four-day window from August 31 to September 3.
The 2025 Champions Trophy is the first ICC tournament Pakistan have hosted since the 1996 World Cup and Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi will all host matches. The 50-over tournament will take place from February 19 to March 9, as Pakistan look to defend their crown in front of a home crowd.
