The toss has already been delayed due to a wet outfield, with the rain coming to a halt for now. A pitch inspection has been scheduled for 2:00pm Pakistan Standard Time, the original match start time. Two days ago, the Australia-South Africa fixture at this same venue was washed out completely.

According to Accuweather, the chances of a full game are quite low. The chance of precipitation around the match start time (2 pm) is 69 per cent, which comes down to 49 per cent by 4 pm. This comes down slightly later on, but still hovers around 35 to 40 per cent throughout the day.
The forecast from BBC Weather is considerably worse. The current weather is characterised as "light rain with a moderate breeze", before "heavy rain" is predicted from around 4 pm onwards. The chances of precipitation remain high throughout the day, between 80 to 90 per cent.
Weather.comhas a closer forecast to BBC Weather, with the chances of rain predicted to be between 90 and 100 per cent throughout the afternoon in Rawalpindi. At this point in time, the chances of a full match appear extremely grim.
