The list of match officials for the 2025 Champions Trophy final, which takes place on Sunday (March 9), has been announced. Here's the full list.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the match officials for Sunday's tournament final between India and New Zealand in Dubai. Paul Reiffel and Richard Illingworth have been named the on-field umpires.
Reiffel was one of the umpires during the South Africa-New Zealand semi-final in Lahore, while Illingworth officiated the India-Australia top-four clash in Dubai. Four-time ICC Umpire of the Year title-holder Illingworth also stood in the final of the 2023 ODI World Cup as well as the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Joel Wilson will be the third umpire, while Kumar Dharmasena will be the fourth umpire, the ICC confirmed. Ranjan Madugalle, the most experienced member of the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees will oversee the match.
India entered the final for the third consecutive time, having done it previously in 2013 as well as in 2017. Their qualification in the summit clash came on the back of four wins in a row, including a four-wicket win against Australia in the semi-final. They are one of the two most successful sides in the competition, having jointly won the title with Sri Lanka in 2002 and lifted another trophy under MS Dhoni’s leadership in 2013.
New Zealand’s only trophy came in 2000 when they defeated India in the final in Nairobi. After losing to Australia in the 2009 final, this will be their third final appearance.
