The schedule for the 2025 Champions Trophy has been released – here is the complete list of fixtures for England in the tournament.
When does the Champions Trophy start?
The 2025 Champions Trophy will begin on February 19 in Pakistan. The UAE will co-host the tournament along with Pakistan after BCCI's refusal to travel to its neighbouring country due to political differences.
Here is how the groups have been divided:
Group A: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand
Group B: Australia, South Africa, England, Afghanistan

In the 2023 ODI World Cup, England lost their games against each of the three teams that are in their group in the Champions Trophy, all by comprehensive margins.

When will England start their campaign?
England will play their group stage games in Pakistan. Their 2025 Champions Trophy campaign will start with a clash against Ashes rivals Australia on February 22, followed by matches against Afghanistan and South Africa on February 26 and March 1 respectively.

February 22: England vs Australia, Lahore, 9 am
February 26: England vs Afghanistan, Lahore, 9 am
March 1: England vs South Africa, Karachi, 9 am
Semi-final 1 will be played in Dubai on March 4, while semi-final 2 will be played in Lahore on March 5. If England qualify, the venue of their semi-final will be based on where they end up on the points table as well as who their opponents are: if they are to play their semi-final against India, it will be in Dubai on March 4 irrespective of their standing in the group stages.
The final will be played in Lahore on March 9, unless India are one of the participants, in which case it will be played in Dubai on the same day.
