The ICC Champions Trophy is set to return in February 2025, after a gap of eight years. Here are the latest updates on preparations for the venues in Pakistan and the UAE.

This year's edition of the tournament was awarded to Pakistan to host, but will now be held jointly in Pakistan and the UAE, after the BCCI refused to send the Indian team to play in Pakistan. They will play all of their group stage matches in Dubai, as well as the semi-final if they qualify. In case India make it to the final, that match will also be shifted out of Pakistan.

Apart from the matches involving India, the tournament will take place in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi, with renovations currently ongoing at the first two venues before they are handed over to the control of the ICC for the tournament.

These are the latest updates on the situation.
