Watch: Hasan Ali repeatedly refuses to answer journalist’s question in presser, calls him out for being ‘personal’

Watch: Pakistan seamer Hasan Ali repeatedly snubbed a journalist during a press conference.

This incident took place during Islamabad United’s presser to discuss their retentions and decisions during the PSL draft. While there was discussion around Azhar Mahmood’s appointment as the head coach, the tiff between Hasan Ali, the Islamabad United platinum category player, and a journalist stole the show.

The journalist started asking a question but was interrupted by Hassan saying, “Next question, please.”

At this journalist said, “Next question? Please, listen to the whole question first.”

Hassan reiterated, “Sir, next question. I don’t want to answer you.”

But the journalist wanted to complete his question first. “This is not the way. I’m giving a question, if you don’t want to answer it, don’t give an answer.”

Hassan, seemingly frustrated at the repeated line of questioning, said, “On Twitter, you write good things, then I’ll definitely give [answers]. Shouldn’t be be personal with someone… PCB cannot stop you, but I have the right.”
