Pakistan Super League 2025

The draft for the 2025 Pakistan Super League took place on Monday, January 13. Here is the full list of players who were picked up in the draft.

Williamson picked after early snub

Daryl Mitchell, David Warner, Alzarri Joseph and Kane Williamson will play in the PSL for the first time after they were selected in the player draft. Mitchell, who has played 70 T20Is for New Zealand, was the first pick of the draft, and was picked up by Lahore Qalandars as a Platinum player. Warner will play for Karachi Kings alongside Williamson, while Joseph will play for Peshawar Zalmi.

The draft was held in Lahore and lasted seven hours, marking the improved player availability for this edition, with the league now only clashing with the IPL. The 2025 PSL will take place from early April to late May, with players who weren't picked up in the IPL auction able to put themselves forward for the competition in full.

Good day for overseas quicks

Seven New Zealand players were picked up, with Finn Allen, Adam Milne, Kyle Jamieson, Michael Bracewell and Mark Chapman joining Williamson and Mitchell among those picked up.

It was also a good pay day for overseas quicks. Sean Abbott found a deal with Quetta Gladiators, while Nahid Rana will play for Peshawar Zalmi. Corbin Bosch and Josh Little also found deals.
