The eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League is set to begin on Monday February 13 – Here’s all you need to know for the PSL 2023 including the full match schedule, teams, match timings and venues.

With six teams competing, the eighth edition of the PSL is set to be a blockbuster, with plenty of huge names from around the world in action. Lahore Qalandars are the reigning champions after achieving their first title in 2022 with Multan Sultans having  finished second.

Islamabad United are the most successful team in the history of the tournament with two titles since the inception of the PSL in 2016.

PSL 2023: Format

The league stage will feature all six teams playing in a double round-robin format, with first rounds of matches set to be played in Multan and Karachi before Lahore and Rawalpindi host the second round of matches.

The top four ranked sides after the league stage will qualifying for the playoff stages. The top two teams will play a Qualifier, while the third and fourth-ranked sides will first play an Eliminator.

The loser of the Qualifier will then play the winner of the first Eliminator in the second Eliminator match, while the winner of the Qualifier will advance straight to the final. Whoever wins the second Eliminator will then go through to the final, which is set to be played on March 19 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
