The Qalandars were at 32-1 at the end of four overs when Sultans captain Mohammad Rizwan summoned Dahani into the attack. Fakhar Zaman, batting then on 11 off five balls, welcomed Dahani with a cracking four to deep point. Dahani bowled the second ball back of a length on middle and leg, and Fakhar needed no second invitation to pull it over the long leg fence for a six. The third ball resulted in a dot.
Dahani steamed in to bowl the fourth ball in the over but slipped in his run-up: his right leg landed awkwardly on the pitch, sliding across. He smiled, apparently suggesting that the incident was nothing serious. Non-striker Rassie van der Dussen went towards Dahani, seemingly asking whether he was okay and lent his hand to help him get back to his feet.
Dahani was the most expensive bowler of his side, leaking 24 runs off his two overs without success. Chasing 167, Rizwan led from the front with his 59-ball 82 to power the Sultans to a five-wicket win with an over left.
