The seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League will be played from January 27 till February 27 in Karachi and Lahore — here are the full details of PSL 2022, including format, schedule, venues, timings, format and telecast details of the event.
PSL 2022: Schedule and list of fixtures
A total of 34 T20s will be played in the T20 League, with the first match being held on January 27 between Karachi and Multan. The last league game will be held on February 21 between Lahore and Peshawar, before the playoffs begin from February 23, with the final on February 27.

PSL 2022: Venues
The tournament will be held at two stadiums in Pakistan. The first 15 matches of the edition will be held at the National Stadium in Karachi before the caravan moves to the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, which will also host the playoffs, including the final.
PSL 2022: Teams
Six teams will be in action in this year’s Pakistan Super League, including defending champions Multan Sultans, who will begin their campaign against Karachi Kings. Each team will play the other side twice in the competition, with the top four qualifying for the semi-final.
The six teams in the event are:
Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United.
Pakistan Super League 2022: Squad list
Each team can field up to four overseas players in their XI. Each team must have a minimum of seven and a maximum of eight local players in the XI, including an emerging player. The requirement will be waived if there are positive cases in the camp. In view of the existing Covid-19 situation, the PCB has also directed that a squad will require a minimum of 13 Covid-19-free players for a match to go ahead.
