MCC will finish the tour with a match against Multan Sultans
Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) will begin their tour of Pakistan this month with a floodlit T20 game against Pakistan Super League side Lahore Qalandars at the Gaddafi Stadium on February 14.
The following three matches on the tour will all take place at Aitchison College, the alma mater of former Pakistan captain Imran Khan.
MCC President and former Sri Lanka batsman Kumar Sangakkara will captain the 12-man touring party which includes Ravi Bopara, Roelof van der Merwe and Ross Whiteley.

The sole 50-over match of the tour will take place on February 16, with Pakistan Shaheens the opposition. A T20 match against Northern, reigning champions of Pakistan’s National T20 Cup, will follow the next day before the tour rounds off on February 19 with a match against another PSL side, Multan Sultans.
Test cricket returned to Pakistan last December after more than a decade of inaction, with Sri Lanka visiting for a two-match series.
MCC head coach and former England fast bowler Ajmal Shahzad said: “This tour of Pakistan will be a momentous occasion for everyone involved.

“We expect the standard of cricket to be high during this trip. The MCC squad possesses both international and extensive domestic experience which I am sure will prove strong opposition for some of Pakistan’s best emerging cricketers, and three squads of talented T20 players.
“We hope that this tour helps contribute to the Pakistan Cricket Board’s wish of seeing international teams returning to tour the country on a regular basis.”
