2024 GT20 Canada Qualifier 1: Who will win?  

It’s a battle between the top two sides on the points table in the Global T20 League with the winners qualifying for the final on August 11. Having cruised through the league stage, Montreal Tigers topped the table with four wins from seven matches, including two washouts.

On the other hand, Brampton Wolves sealed the second spot with four wins but two losses, including an abandoned fixture due to inclement weather.

The two sides will meet again after featuring in the ninth match of the tournament on July 31. The Tigers thrashed their opponents by 42 runs with Dilpreet Bajwa starring with a 55-ball 100.

The Tigers are down as favourites with odds of 1.80 on Stake. But the Wolves will not be an easy team to beat with odds of 2.00 on Stake. 

Who will be the team with the best batter?

Bajwa leads the run-scoring chart with 206 to his tally, becoming the only centurion in the tournament. He is closely followed by Wolves’ George Munsey, who has scored 192 runs so far.

However, Wolves' David Warner is the best batter to top the runs today, priced at 2.65 on Stake. Warner’s Australian compatriot Chris Lynn, playing for the Tigers, is a decent choice at 3.05.

Who will be the team with the best bowler?

Brampton’s Thomas Draca has taken the second-most wickets (11) so far, priced at 5.90 on Stake. However, Andrew Tye, another Australian player, is expected to shine in this department, with odds of 3.05. A solid alternative from the Tigers is Naveen-ul-Haq at 3.30.

Who will hit the most sixes? 

On Stake, the Montreal Tigers have greater odds of hitting more sixes, priced at 1.75. The Wolves have odds of 2.50 of hitting more maximums on Stake. So far, Bajwa has hit nine sixes in six innings and is a good bet. Wolves' Munsey has 14 sixes and will be a good option too.
