England will play a three-match ODI series in South Africa, which begins on January 27 — here’s where you can watch SA vs ENG 2023 along with live streaming and TV details.
The reigning world champions kickstart the year with a tour to South Africa, where they will play three ODIs. The first game will be held on Friday with the second match being played two days later, on Sunday. The third and final ODI will be played on February 1.
The Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein will host the first two games of the series before the caravan moves to the Diamond Oval in Kimberley.
The series is likely to mark the return of Jofra Archer, who has not played for the country since March 2021 due to a spate of injuries. The quick has been plying his trade in the SA20, where he has taken eight wickets at an economy rate of 7.57 in five games. Phil Salt’s participation in the series opener is in doubt after suffering from a bout of illness. Jos Buttler will lead the squad.
The hosts, on the other hand, will be captained by Temba Bavuma, who last played a white-ball game in the T20 World Cup last year. Bavuma is the only South Africa player from the squad of 16 who is not playing in the SA20, after not fetching any bids in the player auction. Sisanda Magala has been named in the squad after being omitted last year for failing to meet the required fitness standards.
