Watch: Abrar Ahmed continued his stunning start to his Test career, bamboozling Ollie Pope before bowling the England No.3 with the perfect leg-break.

Pope has been one of England’s best batters on their tour of Pakistan, making a century in the first Test and 60 in the second Test. His form delivered a half-century in the first innings of the third Test as well, but he was caught out by Abrar’s magical skills, despite delivering the odd counter-punch.

At times failing to pick the googly, at others troubled by uneven bounce, Pope scored 16 off 29 against Abrar and 34 off 35 off the rest of Pakistan’s batters. The delivery which eventually accounted for Pope was a beauty, a sharp-turning leg-break that pitched on leg-stump and hit off-stump.

Abrar has now taken 13 wickets in three innings, including the first seven wickets to fall on his debut.
