Watch: There are few bowlers as irresistible as Stuart Broad when they’re on a roll with the veteran seamer producing another classic new ball burst at Mount Maunganui to put England firmly on top in the first Test of the series against New Zealand.
Broad clean bowled all of New Zealand’s formidable top three of Devon Conway, Tom Latham and Kane Williamson in a thrilling spell under lights on the third evening of the first Test.
Conway was first to fall, missing a drive that beat him on his inside edge. Williamson was next to go with Broad bowling the former New Zealand captain through the gate on the angle for a duck.
Broad then dismissed Latham, working over the New Zealand opener. The ball prior to his dismissal, Latham was beaten on the outside edge while the wicket ball beat him on the inside.
